The Greatest Show In Pine View

This is a story about a boy named Harlan Kooter. Harlan lived in a town called Pine View, Florida, where he was the smallest boy in his school. Pine View isn't very big itself, and to tell you the truth, there aren't a lot of pine trees there – just a few small, scraggly ones that haven't grown much since the day they were planted. The town is mostly a lot of sand and scrub grass, and the houses in it all look like cracker boxes someone set on their sides and cut doors and windows out of.
